Sahibat is comprised of women dancers from Western Massachusetts and Southern Vermont. Each dancer brings a rich and diverse history with her, enhancing the dynamic and emotive vibration of the troupe as a whole.

This ancient dance tradition of women honors the beauty of all women through the celebraton of life expressed in the movement and connection each dancer hears and feels within the complex layering of rythym and melody of the music.

Sahibat recognizes and honors the transformational power of dance both for the dancers and the audience whom absorb the dancers' energy, transform it and then give it back.

Sahibat dancers are commited to their growth as performers and continue to study Middle Eastern Dance and cultural history from a variety of teachers including their lovely Rose.

The Sahibat Sisters share a common vision to educate and entertain their audiences by promoting the unique and beautiful artistic expression and culture of Middle Eastern Belly Dance Tradition.
